Less equipment, less maintenance, less money

A polar conveyor fills product bins in this blending plant. An external elevator drops product through the top of the dome to a short belt which carries it to the bins. The assembly rotates from bin to bin using a small motor on an outer track. It’s a simple mechanism — only two motors inside the dome — which evenly loads the surprisingly large storage chambers.

When required, the conveyor rotates to a maintenance position lined up over the catwalk for easy access. This dome is air conditioned which reduces equipment corrosion, but when a replacement or repair is needed, it’s easy.

The Monolithic Dome supports all equipment without internal columns or additional frameworks. The head house, drop tube, polar conveyor, outer track, and lights all mount to the dome. The spray-in-place bin walls support the catwalks and dust-control piping.

This efficient design stores more product in a smaller space; it reduces construction costs, eliminates complex equipment, simplifies maintenance, and — ultimately — saves money.
